Since 2014, The Haven Ministries has been making a meaningful difference in the historic Portland neighborhood of Louisville, Kentucky. What began as a local outreach has grown into a lifeline of support and community transformation.

At Cup of Joy, we serve free coffee and pastries every day to neighbors who may not be able to afford a purchase. Each week, more than 150 hot meals are provided following our Sunday worship service. We also offer practical assistance through life-skills training and employment opportunities—helping individuals in recovery re-enter the workforce and empowering residents to thrive within their own community.

Our care extends to essential needs as well. Clothing and hygiene products are regularly distributed, and every holiday season, we host large Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners where hundreds of guests enjoy a warm, delicious meal and a place to belong. Additionally, we provide housing and dedicated recovery services for both women and men seeking a fresh start.
