the haven ministries leadership
Esther Lyon Blankenship founded The Haven Ministries as a 501(c)(3) in 2014 and currently serves as the Executive Director. ​She is a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist and a Doctor of Nurse Anesthesia Practice who currently works as an independent contractor delivering anesthesia services at facilities in Louisville, Kentucky and Southern Indiana.

In April 2019, Esther married Mathew Blankenship who brought 15+ years of ministry (pastor/evangelist) experience with him to The Haven Ministries. Together, they pioneered The Haven Church in 2019 where Mathew serves as Pastor. Mathew is also an integral part of the men's recovery ministry.
​
The Blankenships reside on the west side of Louisville in the heart of the Portland neighborhood with their 5-year-old son, Allen.
